Product Overview

We manufacture high-performance shell and tube water cooled condensers engineered for water-cooled chillers, commercial HVAC racks, cold storage plants, and marine refrigeration units. Designed to meet ASME Section VIII Div. 1, CE-PED (2014/68/EU), and GB/T 151 pressure vessel codes, our units provide continuous thermal rejection, low condensing temperatures, and long-term operating stability under heavy-duty duty cycles.
Whether you are an OEM chiller manufacturer seeking custom dimensions or an HVAC contractor requiring drop-in replacements, we provide custom vessel designs with flexible tube metallurgy, multi-circuit options, and complete quality dossiers.

Engineering Benefits and Design Advantages

High-Efficiency Inner-Grooved Copper Tube Technology: Standard smooth-bore tubes allow boundary layer thermal resistance to build up on the refrigerant side. Our condensers utilize high-density inner-grooved copper tubes. The internal spiral micro-grooves induce refrigerant turbulence and expand the active heat transfer surface area. This enhances the overall heat transfer coefficient by 25 to 30 percent, allowing a smaller shell footprint and reduced total refrigerant charge.

Application-Specific Metallurgy for Water Quality Management Water chemistry varies dramatically across cooling tower, well water, river, and marine installations. To eliminate premature corrosion, scaling, and tube pitting, we offer four certified material configurations:

• Standard HVAC (Clean Cooling Towers): Seamless inner-grooved copper tubes + Carbon Steel shell (Q235B/Q345R) + Carbon Steel tube sheets.

• Industrial Process Cooling: Seamless copper tubes + Stainless Steel shell (SS304 or SS316L) + Stainless Steel tube sheets.

• Brackish & High-Mineral Water: Stainless Steel (SS316L) seamless tubes and shell assembly.

• Seawater & Offshore Marine Applications: 90/10 Copper-Nickel (CuNi C70600) or 70/30 Copper-Nickel (CuNi C71500) tubes + Heavy-duty epoxy-coated water covers (water boxes) + sacrificial zinc anodes.

Manufacturing Process and Quality Control

01/

Material Traceability: All raw steel plates, seamless tubes, forged flanges, and welding consumables are verified with Mill Test Reports (MTR) according to EN 10204 3.1 standards.

02/

Precision CNC Tube Sheet Machining: Tube sheets are drilled and dual-grooved on high-precision CNC machining centers to ensure precise tolerances (+/- 0.02 mm), preventing tube edge shear during expansion.

03/

Torque-Controlled Electronic Tube Expansion: Tubes are expanded into tube sheet grooves using automated, torque-monitored expansion tools. This guarantees a permanent gas-tight joint while avoiding work-hardening or tube wall thinning.

04/

Certified Welding Execution: Vessel shell longitudinal and circumferential seams are welded by certified operators using Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) following qualified WPS/PQR procedures.

05/

100 Percent NDT and Pressure Hold Testing: Every finished vessel undergoes a Hydrostatic Test at 1.3 to 1.5 times the design working pressure, followed by a 24-hour pneumatic Nitrogen Leak Hold Test prior to surface blast cleaning and industrial polyurethane painting.

FAQ

Q: How do I select the correct water cooled condenser for my chiller?

A: Selection depends on cooling capacity, refrigerant type, condensing temperature, cooling water temperature, flow rate, pressure requirements, and installation conditions. Providing these parameters allows engineers to recommend a suitable model.

Q: How do you ensure tube-to-tubesheet joint integrity under high operating pressure?

A: Joint integrity is assured by two factors: dual-grooved CNC-drilled tube sheets that lock the expanded copper or CuNi tube into position, and automated torque-controlled tube expansion. Every unit is then subjected to a mandatory 24-hour nitrogen pressure test at maximum working pressure before leaving the factory.

Q: Can your team supply custom condensers for marine or offshore applications?

A: Yes. For seawater or marine environments, we utilize 90/10 or 70/30 Copper-Nickel tubes, heavy-duty epoxy coatings on internal water box surfaces, and sacrificial zinc anodes to resist galvanic corrosion and marine bio-fouling.

Q: What quality documentation accompanies international orders?

A: Every shipment is supplied with a complete Quality Dossier, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Mill Test Certificates (MTR) for pressure-retaining materials, Hydrostatic/Pneumatic Test Reports, Paint Coating Thickness Inspection Reports, and Factory Certificate of Conformity.
